With collecting over 85 forgotten 35mm films throughout Belfast, this is where the inspiration of this work begins.

Through collecting these forgotten film canisters hidden within attics and stashed within drawers. We see that there is something artistic and beautiful about them. Through the developed we see the photographs blurred, double exposed and containing fungus.

Linking to death, sentimentality and emotion, with layers of nostalgia, fragility, and life within the Belfast community.
